Hooked on Fishing Club, The new Club in Malta managed to have 2 of their members place in the top 3 spots of the National Float Fishing League.

The members of the new Club H.O.F.C that managed to place are Miguel Grech in 1st place & Adrian Nelson in 3rd place. In the first year the Club managed to clinch the top spot of this league and having our Team B Member Miguel Grech as the Maltese Champion & 3rd place overall with Adrian Nelson.

It was a very close call when it came to team placing also as we had Team A Jamie Bonnici, Adrian Nelson, Jonathan Bonnici & John Cardona in a tie with same points as another clubs team sitting at 11 points but there was individual point difference that unfortunately meant they placed instead.

Also Team B :Peter Paul Azzopardi, Raymond Farrugia , Christian Cefai, Josef Cassar & Miguel Grech came only 1 point behind with 12. However out of the 9 competitors we managed 4 placements in the first 10 placing’s which is great achievement for this new club on its first year of participating / competing in this league with 3 other Clubs. H.O.F.C would like to thank all 9 members taking part in this League & last but not least all our club members whom were present in every match as marshalls & weighing in.
