With the fifth and final match now concluded, we can officially confirm the overall league podium:

1st Place: Adrian Nelson & Paul Celeste – 25 points

2nd Place: Carmel & Alex – 23 points (with over 1kg more total weight)

3rd Place: Brady & Lawrence – 23 points

This year’s league was anything but easy. The podium spots were still up for grabs going into the final match, making for an intense and competitive finish. Each venue presented its own challenges, pushing all teams to adapt and deploy a wide variety of techniques in pursuit of success.

Unlike standard matches that focus solely on weight, this league used a points-based system, adding a layer of strategy and complexity to every outing. Teams had to consistently perform across multiple matches to secure top positions.

A special mention goes to Adrian & Paul, who managed to secure the maximum 7 points in each of their first three matches—a truly remarkable achievement that laid the foundation for their overall victory.

Well done to all participants for the fantastic effort, determination, and above all, the great sportsmanship shown throughout the league. You’ve made this season a memorable one.
