Hooked On Fishing Club Malta : Presentation Angler Centre Doubles League 2016

29/05/2016 Held at Soreda Qawra.

It was time again for us to meet as one big family to congratulate all the winners from this great Doubles League which goes without saying quite a difficult one.

The attendance was a good one although there was a few that could not make it this time. It all started with everyone enjoying each other’s company & discussing our favourite topic fishing. This followed on with a very good Buffet that was prepared for us & after that onto the presentation. All in all this was a great afternoon with friends & family.

This year’s winners were as follows :

Jonathan Bonnici & Joseph Ellul : 1st Overall , 1st Place in the 1st Leg , 3rd Place in the 2nd Leg, 3rd Place in the 3rd Leg & 1st Place in the 4th Leg.

Josef Cassar & Miguel Grech , 2nd Overall , 1st Place in the 2nd Leg, 1st Place in the 3rd Leg, 1st Place in the 5th Leg.

Luke Bonnici & Luwk Borg , 3rd Overall, 2nd Place in the 1st Leg, 2nd Place in the 2nd Leg, Section Win in the 3rd Leg & 3rd in the 5th Leg.

James Gilson & Michael Godfrey, Section Win 1st Leg, 2nd Place 3rd Leg & 2nd Place in 4th Leg

The trophies were presented to the Winners by the Angler Centre Directors whom were this year’s Main sponsor for this League which we would like to take the opportunity to thank them. There was also other support from other sponsors such as ‘Fishin Fever Tar Rabat’ for cost share on Vouchers with Angler Centre , General Soft Drinks for the refreshments during the competitions & Tubertini Malta for the Biggest Fish Trophy.
