2nd NFSAM Match held at Pixkerija 18 March 2018

Would like to thank all our members Teams HOFC A & B that took part in today’s NFSAM 2nd float fishing match venue had to be changed due to windy conditions with the chief marshals opting for the alternative venue at Pixkerija Valletta. By no means this alternative venue was an easy one as conditions were not the best, however anglers tried different techniques to hook the fish. Fish caught were mostly bottom fish including wrasses, some bream together with some nice sized rock fish. Adrian Nelson also managed to net some nice sized parrot fish leading him to top today’s match. It was good to see most of the club’s anglers doing well on the day. Still 2 matches to go for this National League to be decided which means anything can happen. Keep up the good work & great sportsmanship. It was good to see the following standings after the 2nd match with Adrian Nelson now sitting 2nd Overall, Matthew Dimech 3rd Overall Etienne Grech Sillato in 4th Overall & Carmelo Quattrocchi 6th Overall in the Individual Table & seeing Team HOFC A come in 1st Overall with 19 points.
