Marlon Tanti wins the float match in Birzebbuga and moves on to top of table

The 2nd Match in the HOFC Ellevi Float Float Fishing League was completed In force 5 winds and Marlon Tanti won the match to now move at the top of table.

The venue chosen was that of Birzebbuga, not an easy venue at all due to the area being full of obstacles in this time of the year with the small tender boats and ropes all around the area.

Tubertini boy Marlon Tanti yet again had a very busy match with a mix of mullets and gilthead breams. A nice catch of 1.53kgs puts him top of the table with 2 more matches to go. Second on the day Sheldon Bouvett also powered by Tubertini with a catch of mainly mullets netting a total of 1.25kgs which puts him third overall. Ellevi boy Peter Paul Azzopardi also maintained the pace in third place on the day, netting a total of 0.960kgs.

Thanks to the all the anglers who contributed in a friendly atmosphere we have in the club, and fished fairly since the match had no marshalls.

It was yet again a great battled match with great sportsmanship and friendship among the club members.
