HOFC Members Friendly Competition 2019

Today’s @Hooked On Fishing Club Malta Members Friendly Competition was held at Imgarr Gozo. All Anglers gathered at Cirkewwa around 05:00hrs to make their way to Gozo. We had 15 members that participated in this match. The sea state was calm and also the waters were clear which meant the much anticipated Mullet was not biting. There was all sort of different techniques practiced but still the conditions were difficult . There was some nice Striped Seabream landed by Adrian Nelson and Lawrence Pulis , the other main species caught was Scad for the rest it was bottom fish caught with only a couple of small Mullet. Overall it was a pleasant day in company of our Members. Winners were in 1st Place Lawrence Pulis, in 2nd Place Adrian Nelson and in 3rd Place Marlon Tanti.
