Ellevi Boy - Adrian Nelson Wins the 1st HOFC Garfish Challange 2019

This year HOFC introduced a new challenge in their yearly calendar – the Garfish fishing challenge. 20 anglers registered for the event which was fished on 2 matches per angler.

The first 5 anglers to qualify from the event fished in Bahar ic-Caghaq were Paul Sammut Stephen Bonnici Marlon Tanti Josef Cassar & Lawrence Pulis The second qualifier match was also held in the same place and the qualified anglers were Adrian Nelson Martin Pisani Martin Pace Brady Sammut and Peter Paul Azzopardi The final match was fished in limits for Armier Mellieha and some nice sized garfish were caught. Adrian Nelson won the final match with 8 garfish followed in second place by Josef Cassar on 6 garfish, while Peter Paul Azzopardi in third place on 5 garfish.
