Adrian Nelson Wins Tricky 2nd Match at Sliema Ferries , followed closely by Lawrence & Carmel

The second Match of the Hooked On Fishing Club Malta 'Comba' Giovanni 's Singles League 2023. Due to weather conditions the last couple of days venue used was Sliema Ferries . Sea state and Weather was good started to fish around 7:15 due some peg re arrangements. Once the match started most pegs had a few bottom fish bites although there was some that opted for the damsel fish straight way to ensure that they can raise some decent weights. In the end all had quite a few different species wrasse , bream , parrot fish & painted combers. This league is limited to only bottom fishing so the Anglers managed to keep trying different techniques Quite some fish where caught to be released alive after the weigh in. In first place was Adrian Nelson with 3.160 kilos Closely followed by Lawrence Pulis In second place with 3.120 kilos & third place Carmel Spiteri just shy of 3 kilos . Well done to all the participants and also the Marshalls on the day Adrian Spiteri & Marcus Sammut for assisting and marshaling the match.
