First place Marcus Sammut followed by Giovanni Mercieca & in third place Peter Paul Azzopardi.

That was the first match kicked off at Senglea due to the seas were still rough elsewhere and it seemed to be the most sheltered Area. This was the 1st Match of the HOFC Excel Homes Ltd Singles Pole Fishing League 2023.

It was a slow start due to there was some bites but mainly bottom fish , at one point close to the last hour there were some good bites off some guilded seabream. It was late in the Match so Anglers swapped out the gear to fish specifically for them but obviously it was quite late .. Never the less all Anglers managed to hook at least a couple . It was a pleasent morning fishing with other fellow members and also the weather was favourable no rain after all the stormy weather a few days prior.
