JeanClaude Tonna clinches first place during the 3rd Excel Match followed by Antoine and Lawrence

That was the Third match which was held at Sliema Front , This venue was selected due to high winds & was one of the most sheltered areas. This was the 3rd Match of the HOFC @Excel Homes Ltd Singles Pole Fishing League 2023.

As per the previous last 2 matches this again was quite a difficult one with clear waters and very few bites. The day kicked off slowly with Anglers doing their best to attract fish to their fishing spot. As usual and well known in this area you can find quite a few damselfish even though they were quite hard to get. For the other species quite common to find was Mullet but they where no were to be seen so it was all down to see how one can manage and attract any other sort of fish in the area & try different types of bottom fishing techniques. NevertheLess all the Anglers kept trying till the end of the match and enjoyed the company of each other during the whole time. All fish caught on the day were released to fight another day .
