- The anglers opted for bottom fishing.
- Bottom fish and some demsel were the predominant catch of the day,
- Other species caught were some bream and parrot fish, various wrasses, nice combers adding to the diversity of the day's angling experience.

- 1st place Peter Paul Azzopardi who took temporarelly the top spot with a good weight of 3.05kgs.
- Adrian Nelson in second place with 2.935kgs and Carmel Spiteri in third place with 2.380kg
