Team Krest JeanClaude Tonna & new commer Larson Bonnici win the opening Doubles Match 2023

The first Match of the Hooked On Fishing Club Malta Giovanni's Doubles League Match was Held in Gozo at Xatt l-ahmar. We started preparing for the competition at 6:00 am in the rain and windy conditions which made it very difficult for our members. Finally rain stopped at 9:00 but unfortunately even bites nearly stopped at the same time but at least the sun started to shine. Most of the fish caught on the day were bottom fish and a couple of mullets.

Winners of this match were the Team Krest JeanClaude Tonna & new commer Larson Bonnici followed by Team Anglers United Isaac Psaila & Justin Spiteri and in 3rd Place Team FishBone Adrian Nelson & Peter Paul Azzopardi
